Taking a pose of this old tree near the last water source before we start ascending to the campsite.
The view at almost campsite, passing through a golden rice field on the top of the mountain with a good water source perfectly just in time with the Mt.Daat sunset.
The great view pays off all our hard trek and the aching heat of the sun.

Welcoming campsite, a wide campsite that could cater around 50 tents. A wide lagoon at the back part of the mountain that served as safe campsite.
Reaching the campsite with a cool breeze of wind from the north. This girls are chilling already.
That's me and claire at the viewing peak of mt. Da-at. A happy and contented smile of ours upon climbing and reaching the summit. Nothing compares the feeling of being in the mountain peak.
Our lovers jumpshot sunset as our background.
Upon our arrival we set up our camp, pitch our tents and then explore the campsite. Just enjoying the great landscape that the mountain can only offer.
After our early dinner, the darkness cover the mountain landscape and so we started our socials.
During the socials we had first our formal introduction to oneself then followed by the exchange of feelings and experiences along the trail while climbing Mt. Da-at.
We had a night full of laugh and in a way we get to know more each other on the process together with a Rhum that served as a body warmer to some of the climbers.
We share stories of our different climbing experiences and ideas that we learned.
Early morning the next day, I woke up early to capture the morning view of the area and I capture this wonderful view of white rock mountain near the campsite. The reward of waking up early.

Jecky waving his hand. Were leaving the campsite going to the jump off.
At the starting line, I was left behind so I grabbed the opportunity to took this photo, behind the back photo.
As I said earlier, Its a 3 in 1 outdoor adventure so here we are, after we arrived at the exit point of Mt.Daat. We proceed directly to Brgy. Bulwang for the Spelunking part.
Its the second part of the adventure so we started with a brief orientation regarding the cave, the do's and don't inside the cave then followed by another group picture before we descend the cave entrance.
We explore the Baliw cave, moderate difficulty level for advance caver/spelunker. Approximately 769 meters long almost a kilometer to trail inside with great sightings of lime formation from the cave ceiling down to the cave ground floor.
Participants are all excited and at the same time nervous while going down the cave. The trail was quite muddy and slippery. As we go far deeper it became also darker that we have to use our headlamp and helmet for protection. You have also to prepare extra batteries, bring also water with you and make sure you have all your important stuff in the dry bag for waterproofing.
The trail became narrow and the oxygen supply was less not a good idea for any claustrophobia person.
Along the trail we took some rest interval of 5-10 minutes.
I also took some photos of other participants, amidst the darkness and difficulty inside the cave still they managed to smile.
That's Claire my girlfriend ready for the duck walk and crawl position just to passed by this portion of the gift. We to extra careful not to touch and harm the lime formation inside the cave to preserved and protect.

The exit point of Baliw cave is almost in the river, Namangyan River that is why everyone who is planning to exit the cave alive has to submerge your body into the water with head up position facing the cave ceiling. I must say that's the most exciting part yet risky also.
At last we are all in the exit area, wet, and dirty yet safe and complete.
We had conquered already the first and second adventure and we are down to one last adventure to complete the event itself and that's the Kayaking adventure at Mabinay Spring.
Mabinay Spring is waiting for us.
SO, with any waste of time we enjoy the third part of adventure, kayaking.
The fresh water has a therapeutic effect of our tired body because the energy that was revive and we are able to enjoy and manage to have our own kayak race.

After arriving at the jump off with a short prayer we started the trek.
Assecending to Mt. Daat of Brgy, Hagtu in the town of Mabinay, strategically located at the kilometer boundary of Negros Oriental and Occidental.
At our first stop. With the very natural thirst quencher fresh cocunut juice. Thanks to the generous owner. It helps a lot for our body hydration.
