Travel to Teach and Climb

            My personal reflection of the most painful and hardest climbed in the history, Jesus on His way to Calvary of Golgotha. Many of us already heard of this very familiar and most repeated story during Lenten season, that to some extent it loses the real value of the story.                       Let me share my point of of view, as a mountaineer, climbing mountains was never been that easy. You need skills and knowledge on the stuff you have. You need to developed the different discipline in the outdoors. You must have the right gears and apparel to keep you safe and give you comfort from the test of nature. Perhaps, Jesus experience most likely the greatest climb ever in the human history.                  It was April 17 of 2015, Potsky my outdoor friend based in Bacolod City invited me to there annual climbing event hosted by GreenAlert org. titled "Panikang-tikang". Title itself seems interesting so without hesitation I asked my soon to be better half to join the said event and she said yes, why not? after all Bacolod City is not that far from Mabinay and so to make us more merrier in the climb I invited Cliff and Boyet. October 2014 At Bacolod-Silay International Airport, patiently waiting on our delayed flight bound for Manila for our Mt.Pulag climb of the annual UCCP National Mission Climb. It's 2nd National UCCP Mission Climb. In front of the airport window at the waiting area you can see the view of Mt. Mandalagan waiting to be explored.
