July 2016 Had our OBT or the One Big Tuyok in Dumaguete City or UniverCity one early saturday evening. By the way, One Big Tuyok or "OBT" is what we usually do, It's a roaming around the city riding a scooter with no exact direction, just roaming around.-) After an hour of just wasted time but for us we enjoy doing it roaming around Dumaguete. We feel hungry and so were looking for a perfect spot to have our dinner. Were looking for a typical tocino "ihaw" dinner with "puso" rice. While driving our way going Hibbard avenue passing Silliman Univercity we spotted Ate Josie!! Grill House. Calm and peaceful ambiance inside a typical vintage house in the city ,with tasteful "inihaw na bisayang manok" organic native chicken and tocino with isaw, they also have grilled pork belly at a very budget friendly "pang studyante" price. Tocino display, Chorizo and grilled pork belly is also available. You just have to choose and pic

The Forest Camp : relax and enjoy nature

April 2016                    3rd Saturday of April, when me and my better-half Claire decided to go for a weekend nature stroll. Directly we head to The Forest Camp. Located in Valencia Negros oriental dubbed as the little Baguio of Negro Oriental due to its cold climate and sometime the temperature drops to almost 12-10 degree Celsius. The Forest Camp Resort offers the very relaxing and cool ambiance, if you need to be like in a close to nature experienced while your having a great weekend with your family and friends.              Entering the Resort you will see the Forest Camp Wishing Well,  where it was thought that any spoken wish would be granted. The idea that a wish  would be granted came from the idea that water housed gods or diwata  or had been placed there as a gift from the supernatural being. Some also practice to  drop coins  believing coins would be placed there as gifts for the diwata to show appreciation.  Anyway, updated resorts entrance fee for adults is 90 pesos

April 2016                                                 One summer day of 2016, while having morning coffee and bread routine, I thought of going to Spring or the Mabinay Spring Resort which was less than 2 kilometer away from our house. Also because of the very hot day and I need some break after our school graduation and closing exercises, need to plunge into a very satisfying cool fresh water and only Mabinay Spring could answer to the thirst of my body needs.  Without any second thought I drive my scooter going to Mabinay Spring and there I arrive in less than 10 minutes. Entering the entrance you will see some native trees around the area. Concrete road going inside the spring lagoon.                                                                                                           With well-maintained clean resort and very environment f riendly and close to nature first hand experienced where you can hear  t he branches of trees as they swing in the air, the swe
